(ANSA) - NUORO, JULY 03 - Graziano Mesina, the former primula rossadel Supramonte, definitively sentenced to 30 years for criminal association aimed at drug trafficking, is unavailable. When the Carabinieri last night, after the verdict of the Cassation, showed up at his home in Orgosolo to take him to prison, Mesina was not there. Yesterday afternoon before the sentence, for the first time in a year, he did not show up at the Orgosolo carabinieride station for signature.
Mesina had been released from prison after his sentence was appealed. According to the DDA of Cagliari he was the head of two criminal groups active in geographic points of Sardinia to cover the supply of various types of drugs, based in these two areas of the island. With the rejection of the appeal, the grace granted to him by the President of the Republic definitively lapses.
