Fleisch- und Wurstwaren Schmalkalden GmbH has recalled a paprika pie as a precaution.
The reason for this are metal particles in the product "Wilhelm Brandenburg, paprika pie with yoghurt, 100g," said the company on Friday in Schmalkalden in Thuringia.
Only items with the best before date May 17, 2022 from batch 260422 are affected. In order to rule out a health risk, the company advised against consumption.
According to the information, the paprika pie is sold in markets in Brandenburg, Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Hamburg and Bremen.
The manufacturer said that the purchase price would be refunded to the retailer where the product was purchased without presenting the receipt.
