Tickets are now available through the Mad Cool website. In addition, the organizers have announced that the tickets of the two canceled editions will be valid for this one, a change that can already be carried out through the Mad Cool Area. Of course, returns will not be available until July 7. Just a month ago, the Madrid festival, one of the most massive of those held in the summer season in Spain, announced the postponement of its fifth celebration, "due to force majeure" associated with the pandemic. “It is a very thoughtful and painful decision, because our hope and that of all of us was to meet again at Mad Cool, but we also want to convey to you that it is a decision that we believe is coherent, correct and correct. Health is above all ”,indicated the statement sent to the media.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cardi B, Twenty One Pilots, Placebo, The Killers, Deftones, Mumford And Sons, Faith No More, Kings of Leon, HAIM and The War On Drugs were some of the artists that were announced. Some of them will remain on the 2022 poster, others will stay on the road. Mad Cool is not the only festival with an ambitious rollout after two years of postponements due to the coronavirus: Primavera Sound in Barcelona expects to have more than 400 artists and bands next year.
