Fifteen people died and about 70 were injured in the collapse of a bridge in Mexico City as a subway train crossed it.
This was reported by the mayor of the metropolis, Claudia Sheinbaum, speaking with journalists at the scene of the accident.
Rescuers who are working on the site of the collapse of the bridge have had to stop "due to the risk of other collapses", he said again announcing investigations to understand the causes of the collapse.
The incident occurred around 10.30pm local time, on line 12. Videos posted on websites and social media showed train carriages suspended in mid-air while ambulance sirens sound nearby.
