The Mexican Ministry of Health announced that 6612 cases and 479 new deaths had been recorded in the country during the past 24 hours, and Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement, "The total number of recorded cases reached 874171, while the total deaths rose to 8,7894 deaths." For the injured, it is likely to be much higher than the registered cases due to the poor possibility of registration and health awareness among the citizens of the country.
It should be noted that Mexico is among the ten most prevalent countries of the Corona virus in the world and has recorded the fourth largest death toll in the world after the United States, Brazil and India.
