The fifth edition of the Michelin Chef Woman 2021 by Veuve Clicquot Award, presented online, goes to Isa Mazzocchi, from the La Palta restaurant in Bilegno in Borgonovo Val Tidone, one of the best cooks in Emilia Romagna.

The Michelin Chef Donna by Veuve Clicquot Award is awarded to a chef who symbolizes Madame Clicquot's qualities - determined, creative, innovative, enterprising - and the values of the famous Champagne House: savoir-faire, excellence, audacity. All within the context of the Atelier des Grandes Dames project, dedicated to female entrepreneurs in the field of wine and food, which since 2017 has seen its expression in the partnership with Michelin and the creation of the Michelin Chef Woman by Veuve Clicquot Award. The initiative is inspired by the figure of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, who took the reins of the Maison at the age of 27, becoming one of the first female entrepreneurs of the Modern Era. A figure with a unique history,who, albeit in a totally masculine context, managed with audacity and courage to give substance to his visionary and innovative intuitions, becoming "La Grande Dame de la Champagne". This year, in a digital guise, the Maison looks to the future with confidence and determination: a vision also shared by the winner of the fifth edition of the Michelin Chef Woman 2021 Award, Isa Mazzocchi.
