The League of Nations has left some traces among the Blues.

After Lucas Digne, victim of muscle pain, Adrien Rabiot, affected by the Covid-19 or Raphaël Varane, injured in the adductors, it is Mike Maignan who will take a position in the infirmary for a few weeks.

The 26-year-old AC Milan goalkeeper will indeed undergo surgery on his left wrist on Wednesday.

"Persistent pain in Mike Maignan's left wrist requires, after a thorough examination, arthroscopy," explained the Lombard club.

The goalkeeper could be absent for at least 15 days according to the Italian press and should therefore miss the next matches, including the trip to Porto in the Champions League on October 19 (return November 3).
