Miqdad meets two Serbian ministers.. Activating the economic agreements signed between the two countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, discussed separately in Belgrade with the Ministers of Construction, Transport and Housing Tomislav Momirovic and State Economy Dragan Stefanovic the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them.

The two sides agreed on the importance of mutual visits and the signing of new agreements that reflect the two countries' keenness on the best relations between them and the need to deepen them politically, economically and culturally, activate the economic agreements between the two countries and sign new agreements needed by the reconstruction process in Syria.

In this context, Dr. Miqdad stressed the importance of the bilateral historical relations between the two countries, which date back to many years, including since the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement in 1961, once again Syria's support for the unity of the land and people of Serbia.

Miqdad expressed his admiration for the civilizational achievements made by the Serbian people in various fields.

In turn, the two Serbian ministers expressed their appreciation for Syria's steadfastness in the face of the conspiracies it has been exposed to during the last ten years, and stressed that this steadfastness is a defense of all countries of the world, including European countries.

The two ministers indicated Serbia's readiness to support the reconstruction process in Syria in the fields of construction, infrastructure, transportation, housing and construction.
