Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, met this afternoon in New York with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Minister Miqdad stressed the importance of relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in light of the historical ties that unite them.
He also presented the developments related to the crisis in Syria and the importance of concerted efforts to resolve it and respect for Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
