Oberammergau - On October 14, around 10:30 a.m., the PSt Oberammergau was informed that an 83-year-old woman from Oberammergau was not found at home this morning. She was last seen the day before around 6 p.m. A query from relatives suggested that the lady took a walk the day before from which she obviously did not come home. A search was organized immediately. A patrol from the Oberammergau police station was able to find the woman around 12.10 p.m. today, about 200 m above the valley station of the Laber mountain railway. The 83-year-old was responsive but severely hypothermic. Further medical care and recovery was carried out by the Oberammergau mountain rescue service and the rescue service. The woman was taken to the clinic in Garmisch-Partenkirchen by helicopter. kb
