The Damascus Securities Exchange modified the sample of the leading stock index "DLX" as of today's session after it removed the shares of the Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance Company due to its failure to meet the entry criteria in the index.

The market management clarified, in a decision that SANA obtained a copy of, that the shares of Al Badia Cement Company and Bank of Syria and Overseas were included in the blue-chip index sample and the number of free shares for the papers of Al Baraka Bank, Al Sham Bank and Qatar National Bank included in the sample of the mentioned index was modified.

According to the decision, the companies included in the “Leading Shares” index equation became six companies: Badia Cement with a number of 96908,916 shares at a base price of 5249.69 Syrian pounds, Al Baraka Bank 83710090 shares at 938.08 pounds, Bank of Syria and Overseas 43,539,000 shares at 604.79 pounds, and Al Sham Bank 40,200,000 shares at 842.75 LBP and Qatar National Bank 47,231,306 shares at a price of 749.77 Syrian Pounds, on the other hand, the market management asked the listed companies to provide the management with the quarterly financial statements disclosures for the end of the period 30-9-2021 based on the disclosure system and instructions for the entities subject to the supervision of the Damascus Securities Exchange, within a maximum period The end of this October.
