And the Montpellier Danse festival is back!
True to itself: elitist and exclusive.
This year, don't wait for the slightest foray into mainstream dance.
Jean-Paul Montanari, its director for forty years, returns to his true love, (very) contemporary dance.
On the program, regulars, such as Sharon Eyal and her compatriot Gai Behar, who will resume their creation
The Brutal Journey of the Heart
. A series of pieces that compile the latest effects and fashionable poses, with the aim, it seems, to whisper to the ears of the public that it is at the forefront. This artist knows how to handle beauty and sensuality while showing himself sometimes a little provocative - and on this question, his
Transverse Orientation is
no exception to the rule.
After the defection of the Batsheva due to Covid, this new play by Dimitri Papaioannou and the creation of Salia Sanou
From a Dream,

From June 23 to July 16 (04.67.60.83.60).
