With the participation of more than 40 commercial activities, Deir Ezzor Governorate, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established the Ramadan Charitable Market to sell goods and products at cost price in Cinema Fouad Street, and it includes various types of foodstuffs, clothes and household items.

A member of the Deir Ezzor Governorate Executive Office for the Trade and Economy Sector, Hassan Mugheer, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the aim of establishing the market is to activate the economic movement in the market of Cinema Fouad Street, which was recently reopened after it was rehabilitated from the damage it suffered as a result of terrorist acts and to provide support to families with limited income. To buy their needs at cost price during the holy month of Ramadan and with the approaching Eid Al Fitr.

Mugheer pointed out that the establishment of the market is the beginning of a series of activities that the governorate holds this year with the aim of supporting the commercial movement in the city, reviving the markets that have been sabotaged by terrorist acts, and encouraging merchants to return to their commercial activities in Deir Ezzor.

A number of event owners stated that their participation in the market is not for profit, but rather to support needy families and revitalize the commercial movement in Deir Al-Zour, as Ali Zain Al-Abidin, a participant in the clothing wing, stated that he came from the Aleppo governorate based on an invitation from the Deir Ezzor Chamber of Commerce to participate in the market to support the children This province and providing them with products at cost and without any profit, and to promote the return of commercial activity to the city of Deir Ezzor.

Muthanna Al-Jajan, a participant in the foodstuff pavilion, said that he provides materials at a cost, and perhaps less than that, in support of the consumer and taking into account the economic conditions in which we live.

A number of people present in the market praised this initiative, which comes in support of the people of the city and an opportunity to restore the beautiful atmosphere that they missed during the previous years, stressing that the prices are cheap compared to the prices of the governorate's markets.
