(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JUN 30 - Russia has summoned the British ambassador to Moscow following the words of Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The British ambassador to Moscow was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry today, which protested Prime Minister Boris Johnson's "rude" remarks about President Vladimir Putin, Russian diplomacy said in a statement.
Russia protested "firmly" with Ambassador Deborah Bronnert against "the openly rude comments of the British authorities towards Russia, its leader, its officials, as well as the Russian people", the statement specifies.
