The customer was refused access to the Walygator Grand Est site on Sunday. An investigation has been opened.

Put in place a few days ago, the health pass, the text of which was adopted on Sunday by the National Assembly, is sometimes the subject of strong contestation.

Its application at the entrance to places that welcome the public led to a violent assault on Sunday at the Walygator Grand Est amusement park, near Maizières-lès-Metz (Moselle).

According to the manager's testimony, questioned by Lorraine Actu, a client who did not have his valid health pass "took him by the throat", "lifted" and "threw him to the ground".

The director of the recreation site finished in the emergency room on Sunday afternoon after his assault.

The Prefect of Moselle condemned "very strongly" acts of violence "against those responsible for implementing measures to combat the epidemic".

According to Lorraine Actu, an investigation was opened by the Maizières-lès-Metz gendarmerie brigade and a complaint filed by the victim.

Mandatory to access amusement parks since July 21, the health pass is valid after receiving two doses plus a period of seven days after the second injection.

In the absence of complete vaccination, a negative PCR test must be presented.
