Jack Miller (Ducati) won the Japanese Grand Prix in MotoGP on Sunday, during which the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), leader in the championship and 8th at the finish, took advantage of the fall of his Italian rival Bagnaia to dig the gap overall.
South African Brad Binder (KTM) and Spaniard Jorge Martin (Ducati-Pramac) completed the podium, while poleman, Spaniard Marc Marquez, finished 4th.
After 16 rounds out of 20, Quartararo has 219 points, 18 more than Bagnaia (201 points) and 25 more than the Spaniard Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia), who finished 16th.
