Striker Yan Yusupov signed today (Thursday) with MS Ashdod for three years with an option for two more, through his agent Tal Ben Haim.
The 17-year-old young talent arrived from Beitar Jerusalem, the club where he grew up. In the last season in the youth yearbook, A. Yusupov made 36 appearances in all formats, in which he scored 35 goals and assisted 14 more. For the past two years, the striker has been a member of the Israel youth national team, and is considered one of The greatest talents in Israel for his age.
Yusupov, who will start the season with the youth team and later join the senior team, told the club's official website:
"I am very happy to join the club. Everyone here received me very, very nicely, from Jackie, whom I personally thank, to Freddy David, Eli Levy and all the staff members. I came here because I think that I will be able to achieve my goals in the fastest way - to integrate into the alumni and represent the country in the national team's uniform. Can't wait to hear the BA nets move."
