The official go-ahead for the “M5” industrial park was given on Friday.

Hallbergmoos

- On the southern edge of the Hallbergmoos industrial area, a modern mix of office, production and storage space is being created on an area of 10,000 square meters.

The client is the Deco-Pack company, which already has its headquarters on Messerschmittstrasse.

The company's core business since 1981 has been the packaging of low-volume products.

The second mainstay is the construction and rental of commercial buildings.

One of these is now being built opposite the company headquarters with the M5 business park.

Representatives of the company and community that had given the green light for the project in September 2020 met for the groundbreaking ceremony. "With the M5 business park, innovative companies from other branches of industry and more jobs are to be won for the Hallbergmoos community," emphasized Deco-Pack managing director Sebastian Decoopman. As he said, the buildings meet the current requirements of businesspeople: with electric parking spaces, a large number of two-wheeled parking spaces and an energy-efficient, air-conditioned building. A hall area of 3494 square meters with a height of 6.5 meters as well as suitable office and social rooms (around 1557 square meters) will be built on the almost 10,000 square meter site. As general contractor, Goldbeck GmbH is responsible for the construction.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.

“This is an upgrade for the industrial park,” emphasized Mayor Josef Niedermair.

“The work is progressing surprisingly quickly.

Half a year ago there was still a green field here. ”Alexander Mademann, the community's economic development agency, spoke of a“ welcome addition ”to the business park.

“The mixture of office, production and storage space is something that we don't have here in this form yet.” And we are well on schedule: According to Decoopman, the first tenants should be able to move in as early as June 2022.

"At the moment there is still rental space available, even if we are still in concrete negotiations with interested parties."
