Ulm - Because she is said to have suffocated her two children in their sleep, a 36-year-old woman will have to answer before the Ulm Regional Court from Thursday (1 p.m.).

The public prosecutor's office accuses the woman of murder in two cases, as a spokesman for the regional court announced.

She is said to have suffocated her two three and six-year-old children at the end of April this year by covering the children's mouth and nose and at the same time giving them helium gas.

Subsequently, she is said to have tried to commit suicide.

The trigger is said to have been a family situation that the woman “felt to be stressful”.
