Invitation to the seventh house and court chapel day on August 28th - four routes.

Inning/Herrsching/Dießen

– After two years of the pandemic, the organizers of the Ammerseerenaden have managed to get at least one day of open house and court bands back on their feet for Sunday, August 28th.

It has become a dear tradition to start the music festival around the Ammersee.

This year, however, this is limited to one concert, the so-called "Liberation Concert" in St. Ottilien on September 1st.

The fourth edition of this further series features Isabelle Faust and Antoine Tamestit and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

Organizer Doris Pospischil is happy and relieved to be able to invite at least on these two days in the hope of being able to present the festival in the usual setting next year.

So this year the House and Court Orchestra Day only heralds the concert in St. Ottilien.

"On the way between heaven and lake" is the title of the music that will be heard on Sunday, August 28th, in 24 monuments and gems around the lake.

The President of the State Parliament, Ilse Aigner, has again taken over the patronage.

It's the seventh chapel day, which as usual is divided into four routes - north, east, south and west - and, weather permitting, invites you to cycle from concert to concert.

And the organizers have again succeeded in winning exquisite ensembles for this day.

Music from all over the world can also be heard on the east bank (east route) and in Dießen (south route).

Admission to all concerts is free, the collection of baskets will be used to maintain the chapel.
