Myanmar's ambassador to the UK, Kiwar Zvar Min, claims he was locked out of the embassy in London, Reuters reported last night (Thursday).

According to the report, diplomatic sources said that the ambassador's deputy and the military attaché had taken over the building on behalf of the Myanmar army and refused to allow him access to the place.

"I was locked out," Ambassador Sex told Reuters outside the embassy.

"It's a kind of coup - in the middle of London. You can see they're occupying my building."

CNN reported that at least seven people, including one child, were inside the building.

UK authorities are reportedly working to assist a sex ambassador.

"We are trying to obtain more information following the incident at the Myanmar embassy in London," the British Foreign Office said in a statement.

As you may recall, a military coup took place in Myanmar in early February, claiming the lives of hundreds of people happy about the military junta's takeover of the country.

Ambassador Min last month called for the release of state leader Ang San Suu Kyi who was imprisoned as part of the coup.

For this he was praised by the British Secretary of State Dominic Raab, who said that the ambassador acted with "courage".
