The Mexico City Prosecutor's Office presented on Thursday its report on the investigation of the collapse of an elevated section of subway line 12, on May 3. The ruling pointed out that the collapse, which left 26 dead and 98 injured, was due to a construction failure. According to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, businessman Carlos Slim, owner of the Grupo Carso construction company, who has not been accused of any crime, offered to help rebuild the subway. In Aristegui, Ulises Lara, spokesman for the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office, talks about the details of the expert opinion as well as the complaints that the Prosecutor's Office will present in the coming days against the alleged perpetrators. CNN contacted the Grupo Carso company in relation to the statement from the Prosecutor's Office and said that for the moment they will not comment.
