An abandoned children's bike was found on a hiking trail near Holzkirchen.

The area is currently being searched.

The police do not assume there is a missing person.

• The police were informed on Thursday (September 3) of a mysterious find near the A8 in the Holzkirchen municipality.

• A BMW children's bike and a pair of children's hiking shoes lay at the edge of a hiking trail parallel to the A8.

• The police asked for help and searched the area.

Update, 4.10 p.m.: The Holzkirchen police are currently reporting:

“Based on the press report, a young mother reported to the Holzkirchen police station and stated that she left the bike at the location.

She hadn't given any thought to the possible consequences.

The police thanks the press for the quick report, so the case could be resolved quickly and happily. "

First report, 3:01 p.m .: Holzkirchen

- On Thursday around 12.50 p.m., the Holzkirchen police received the notification about a children's bike lying on the edge of the forest.

This is a BMW children's bike for around three to four year olds, silver-blue in color, pink basket with flowers.

A pair of brown children's hiking boots was found right next to it.

The location is on the forest / hiking trail along the A8 motorway between Unterdarching and the Holzkirchen Nord fuel service facility.
