Since the launch of the plan, a total of 4.38 million people in Hong Kong have received their first injection, that is, 65.1% of citizens aged 12 and above have been vaccinated.


The number of appointments for vaccination has dropped slightly. Today, about 4,800 people have registered online, a decrease of 400 people from yesterday. Among them, only 900 people have made appointments for Kexing vaccines, which is the second consecutive day that has fallen below the 1,000-person mark.

The number of appointments has fallen below the 5,000-person mark for the second time since May 16th, following September 12th.

The overall vaccination rate in Hong Kong has not met expectations, and the Hong Kong government has recently launched a number of new measures for "grain needles".

According to the authorities, about 37,500 people were vaccinated in the 24 hours as of 8 o'clock in the evening, an increase of 6,800 people from yesterday.

Among them, 3,800 people received the first dose of Kexing, an increase of 500 from yesterday, and 7,300 people received the first dose of Forbitux. A total of 111,00 people received the first dose of vaccine; and 8,200 people received the second dose of Kexing. 18,100 people received the second dose of Fubital.

The coverage rates of the two vaccines in community vaccination centers are 95 and 90%, respectively.



A total of 65.1% of eligible vaccinators in Hong Kong have received at least one dose of the vaccine, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage point from yesterday.

Since the launch of the vaccination program, the government has vaccinated a total of about 8,316,000 doses of vaccines for those participating in the program.

Yesterday, there were 5 cases sent to the hospital by the community vaccination center. They were sent to the hospital due to common side effects after vaccination. The condition is stable. 4 of them have been discharged from the hospital and 1 was left for observation.
