A new round of negotiations between representatives of the Venezuelan government and the opposition began this Saturday in Mexico City.
The dialogue was expected to begin this Friday, but the government delegation arrived on Saturday.
In addition, the government appointed businessman Alex Saab, who is imprisoned in Cape Verde on charges of money laundering, as its representative, and at the same time announced an investigation against opposition leader Juan Guaidó.
