The pressure increased over the three weeks of the strike.
"Our anger and our determination increased in front of the deafening silence of our tutelage",
indicates the National Union of the collectives of nurse anesthetists.

As part of this movement, the IADEs of the Dieppe hospital have even imagined a communication campaign: in a series of photos, naked caregivers pose with the message:
“Without a nurse anesthetist, I'm naked.”
An unprecedented effort
The IADEs are one of those jobs in tension at the hospital, which lead the establishments to have recourse to proposals for overtime for their staff, to cumulative employment and retirement or to temporary work. The government recalls that it has made an unprecedented and massive effort of 30 billion euros within the framework of the “Ségur de la santé”, ie 10 billion euros on salary increases and 19 billion in investments.
This strike comes at the worst time, as contaminations skyrocket and the country is entering a fifth wave of Covid.
“Everyone squeezes their buttocks, it cannot last for months and months,”
said Martin Hirsch, director of the Paris Hospitals, on Monday.
At the AP-HP alone, a thousand of the 18,000 nursing positions are not filled, forcing the institution to keep 13% of its beds closed.
This is less than the 20% advanced by the Scientific Council at the beginning of October, but significantly more than the 6% or 7% identified by the Hospital Federation of France (FHF).
