Apple presents its new products and updates 1:11
(CNN Spanish) -
The new iPad Pro brings very important changes to Apple's most advanced tablet, but it also maintains many other features of the iPad Pro 2020 and even the iPad Air.
How different is the new iPad Pro really?
The new iPad Pro breaks one of the most important barriers that Apple has maintained in its tablets and although it raises some important doubts, it can also show us a little about the near future of this type of device from the company.
This iPad Pro will be available in May in 11 and 12.9-inch versions, but the great news is that it is the first Apple tablet to integrate the same chip or processor (M1, developed by Apple) present in traditional computers of the such as the new iMac, the MacBook Air (2020) and the Mac mini (2020).
This makes the barrier between a tablet and an Apple computer practically non-existent to finally allow an iPad to function as a hybrid laptop.

However, although the new iPad Pro has the necessary hardware to achieve this, possibly with great excellence for the results that the M1 chip has demonstrated, the iPad Pro continues to use the same software (iPadOS) that still does not offer all the apps of traditional computers that offer more advanced functions to complete tasks. With this, the new iPad has exactly the same software present in the iPad Pro 2020 and the iPad Air, Apple tablets that already offer excellent performance and what is necessary to take advantage of the software, especially in the iPad Pro 2020.

Apple also announced the integration of the M1 chip into its most powerful tablet, the iPad Pro. According to the technology company, this is a "huge leap in performance."
The new iPad Pro camera offers greater depth and better video quality.
The iPad Pro starts at $ 799 and will be available for pre-order starting April 30.
The iPad Pro 2020 has proven to easily beat other tablets on the market in performance tests despite having a chip that has been considered mobile (A12Z Bionic) and the iPad Air with another less powerful mobile chip (A14 Bionic) has offered a very good experience.
The difference in performance of the new iPad Pro versus the iPad Pro 2020 may not be noticeably perceived by most users.
However, the Apple WWDC 2021 developer conference that will take place on June 7 is possible that this will change because that is where the company presents the news of the next generation of its operating systems and it could be the first time that Apple allow one way or another to run traditional computer apps on your tablets natively to take advantage of the M1 chip of the new iPad Pro.
On the other hand, the new iPad Pro also offers more RAM (8 GB) than the iPad Pro 2020 and the iPad Air, just as it offers for the first time not only 16 GB of maximum RAM, but also maximum storage of 2 TB. .
Other important novelties of the new iPad Pro include a mini-LED screen (in the 12.9-inch model) that is not only brighter, but also has the possibility of offering better contrast between the different colors and black.
The new iPad Pro also has a more powerful USB-C thanks to now offering Thunderbolt to offer better connection and transmission speeds.
In addition, the new iPad Pro has a front camera that has a better resolution and includes the Center Stage function that allows you to adjust the image to your movement to try to stay focused, something that is less seen in the smart displays (Smart Displays) of Facebook, Google and Amazon.
On the other hand, the design of these three mentioned tablets is not very different, but the iPad Air is the one with the largest screen bezels, has a fingerprint reader instead of Face ID and has two speakers instead of four.
