iPhone update: iOS 16 users annoyed – the battery apparently drains faster

The latest iOS 16 update apparently means that the battery life of many Apple smartphones suffers significantly.

63 percent of readers state that the battery life of their iPhone has gotten worse after installing iOS 16.

Around 20 percent believe that the running time has remained the same and around five percent believe that it has even improved.

The remaining ten percent of the readers surveyed gave other reasons.

Possible reasons for the high battery consumption:

• 1. Every time a system update is installed, iOS takes a while to re-index all user data.
