Perfect start for the PBC Erding billiards team in the Nord district league.
Erding – She had risen as an undefeated district league champion and won the first point game in the new league at PBC Nord-Lerchenau 8:2.
In the first four individual matches, Christian Weber scored very well against Markus Drabow in 10-ball with 6:3, Ludwig Weidinger against Michi Sixt in 9-ball with 7:1 and Stefan Mooser in 8-ball with 5:0 points on Erdinger's side confidently through.
Patrick Mittermüller had a slightly harder time, who had to catch up from a 27-point deficit against Xiaosuang Clun in 14/1, but still won 60:49.
So it was 4:0 for Erding before the two doubles games.
The 9-ball doubles Mittermüller/Weber had no big problem asserting themselves 6:3.
The 10-ball double Weidinger/Moser, on the other hand, had to admit defeat 1:5.
It was now 5:1 for Erding and it was clear that at least a draw had already been achieved.
In the last four matches Weber prevailed on Erdinger's side 5:1, Mittermüller 7:4 and Weidinger - after being 0:3 behind - 6:4.
Moser was unlucky and had to give up his 14/1 match with 57:60 points.
But that didn't detract from the joy of the 8:2 in one of the promotion aspirants.
