In the duel between the previously undefeated NFL teams of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers won against the Tennessee Titans.

At 27:24 (24: 7), the Steelers' defense, which had the best statistics in the NFL both in the game against pass and in the run, guaranteed victory.

Tennesse's running back Derrick Henry only got a total of 72 yards, his touchdown in the last quarter to the final score was not enough.

Last week, Henry had been the towering man of the day at 264 yards.

Because the Steelers couldn't manage anything offensively in the second round, it got exciting again despite the high half-time lead.

After the third interception from Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger 2:40 minutes before the end, the Titans received a field goal.

And quarterback Ryan Tannehill actually led his team into the opposing half.

The field goal attempt by experienced kicker Stephen Gostkowski from 45 yards with only 14 seconds on the clock went past the right post and the game was lost.

Previously, Gostkowski had hit a field goal from 51 yards.

New Orleans Saints quarterback star Drew Brees reached another career milestone.

In the 27:24 (21:17) win against the Carolina Panthers, the 41-year-old brought 29 passes to the man, making it the first NFL quarterback to surpass the 7,000 complete pass mark.

With 7021 completions, the 2010 Super Bowl winner leads the ranking ahead of other icons: Six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady had 6,520 trapped passes in second place before his game with the Tampa Bay Bucaneers on Sunday evening at the Las Vegas Raiders thrown, followed by the no longer active Brett Favre (6300) and Peyton Manning (6125).

After the Cleveland Browns had no chance against the Steelers last week, they now drove to their fifth win of the season against the Cincinatti Bengals.

The decision at 37:34 (10:17) was also made just before the end, when quarterback Baker Mayfield threw his fifth touchdown pass to Donovan Peoples-Jones 15 seconds before the end.

The 21-year-old wide receiver rookie was probably also in the decisive role because star pass recipient Odell Beckham Junior had injured his knee.

In the last quarter in particular, a shootout developed for both teams, each of which focused on their passing game.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had three touchdowns and one interception at 406 yards.

His touchdown pass to Giovani Bernard with 69 seconds left was not enough to turn the game around.

After all: For the first time in his NFL career, Burrow threw passes over a total of 400 yards.

The rookie was selected by the Bengals in first place in the draft.

  • The Detroit Lions also won their game against the Atlanta Falcons seconds before the end of the game.

Actually, the Washington Football Team is considered to be one of the worst in the NFL, but the Dallas Cowboys, before the season started, claimed to want to at least move into the playoffs.

Washington's 25: 3 (22: 3) victory can also be explained by the constellation on the quarterback position.

After star quarterback Dak Prescott was seriously injured two weeks ago, his substitute Andy Dalton had to be replaced against Dallas.

After an illegal hit by Jon Bustic in the third quarter, Dalton lost his helmet and lay on the floor in a daze.

Washington's linebacker was removed from play for action by the umpires.

He had hit Dalton's shoulder in the head during a quarterback slide, an early downfall of the Playmaker.

Dalton had to leave the place and was replaced by the regular third quarterback Ben DiNucci.

The cowboys couldn't turn the game with him.
