Australian Nick Kyrgios won the Washington Men's Singles 500 Championship on hardcourt on the US tour in the final quarter of the season.
The 27-year-old Australian won the final after defeating Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka 6-4 6-3 in an hour and 21 minutes to win his seventh title in his career and his first since winning the Washington title in 2019.
Kyrgios also won the doubles title in the same tournament after defeating the doubles of Croatian Ivan Dodig and American Austin Krajesek in the final, accompanied by American Jack Sock, 7-5, 6-4.
