Not a symbol, but also not another actor: about the separation between Idan Vered and Betar Jerusalem
Moshe Hogg did not have to provide Idan Vered with a new contract, but a different attitude is a must for players who have some status and connection to the club.

The
departure of Idan Vered from Betar Jerusalem and the move to Hapoel Tel Aviv created a lot of controversy among Betar Jerusalem fans. Again the question of the symbol, identity and other nicknames affixed to players who have a connection to the club arose.
So true, we are in an age where there are really no symbols, but still, there are players whose level of identity in front of the crowd and status in the club is different from others, ones who deserve a slightly different attitude. An attitude that allows them to stay in the club even if they are not at their peak they should stay in the club. Even if there will be no car players, but will contribute to the club on additional levels and may even continue in a managerial position after the career.
If it was only in the era of Vered, one could still argue, but Betar's celebrates it systematically - this is the second case only this year. Vered, like Dan Einbinder, was willing to give up a lot of money to stay in Betar, but were not even willing Talk to them.

Betar fans are angry about players being thrown out, but going to Hapoel Tel Aviv.
