Oil prices rose for a third day in a row today, with major producers indicating that they cannot increase production significantly, while political turmoil in Libya and Ecuador heightened supply concerns.
Reuters reported that the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude rose by $1.8 a barrel, or 1.6 percent, to 111.36.
Brent crude futures jumped $1.9 a barrel, or 1.7 percent, to $116.99 a barrel.
