Tragedy:

Oscar Garcia experienced a family tragedy this week, after the death of his daughter Mariona at the age of only 22 after dealing with cancer.

The coach, who in recent years had to sacrifice part of his career to be by his daughter's side during the difficult treatments she went through, published an emotional post on social media, in which he said goodbye to his daughter: "Fly high to the sky, my love."

In Spain, they mourned with his family, and told about the difficulties he experienced as a coach as a result of his daughter's condition.

"He missed several games at Celta Vigo to be by her side. She was the most precious thing to him," it says, "in France he was fired after a Reims game against PSG that ended 0:0, just because he didn't stand on the lines in the game to fly to Barcelona for critical treatment. He understood that it could hurt his career, but he hoped with all his heart that she would recover."

Salta Vigo, the team he coached, published a post of support: "The entire Salta Vigo family supports you Oscar. Sending reinforcements and condolences. We are with you more than ever."

Jordi Cruyff, who was one of the closest people to Oscar, also sent reinforcements to the coach on social networks.
