The two-day courtyard and garden flea market attracts bargain hunters to all parts of the city.

The organizers are satisfied - so are most of the retailers.

Wolfratshausen – Eva-Maria Rühling arrived home from her long tour a little exhausted but very satisfied.

The chairwoman of the neighborhood aid association "Bürger für Bürger", who organized the farm and garden flea market on his own for the first time on the weekend, took a lot of time on Saturday to visit the stands that were open on Saturday. A total of 160 farms and gardens.

Rühling was very satisfied with the flea market: "It was a constant coming and going: It took me forever to get home because I met so many nice people and acquaintances."

Regina Kayn, who had set up a few stands with a few neighbors in the narrow Auf der Haid street, had a similarly positive impression.

"We had a lot of visitors even before the official start at 2 p.m.," she said happily.

The rare film posters that Alfred Drescher offered for sale were particularly eye-catching.

Fans of Gerhard Polt, Karl Valentin or Hans Albers had to pay around 40 euros for it.

On a negotiation basis, of course: "I also want to haggle, otherwise it's no fun," explained the 66-year-old.

The former manager of a technical copying plant in Munich has collected many treasures such as old projectors over the years.

Santina Scollo on the Weidacher Mühlpointweg recorded significantly less crowds.

Sitting in the garden chair, she waited for people interested in glasses, children's bikes and tennis rackets.

The sale had a practical reason: "My father asked me to clear the garage so that he could park better again," she revealed.

She would even give some things as gifts.

"The main thing is that the stuff goes away."

Especially in Weidach, since some streets are a little off the beaten path from through traffic, self-made signs or chalk drawings on the streets often pointed to the sales outlets.

This helped Benjamin Forster in his search for children's clothes and toys for his one-year-old son.

"The garden flea market is a nice idea, especially since I can easily reach many of the stalls on foot with the buggy."

Martina Berendt had a favorable location in front of the Edeka car park at the Nantwein cemetery.

She was at the farm and garden flea market for the third time.

"I think it's good that there are no stand fees."

While there was a high density of sales outlets in the districts of Weidach and Nantwein, the field thinned out in the direction of the old town.

In front of the pump house on the Loisachufer, whose rooms are used by the “Bürger für Bürger” association, Elisabeth Röder and Gordini Mühlhäußer were waiting for buyers of porcelain dishes from a defunct household.

"Perhaps many people preferred to go swimming in this weather," suggested Mühlhäußer.

It was also quiet near the campsite at Badweiher.

The young married couple Verena and Felix Kratzmaier still offered children's clothing, sunglasses, jewelery and DVDs in the courtyard of their house.

"We've accumulated a lot over the years: a campaign like this helps a lot to get rid of the superfluous," said Felix Kratzmaier.

On Sunday the flea market ended in the areas south of the train station, in Waldram and Farchet and in the commercial area.

"There was something for everyone," said Rühling.
