The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the American statements in support of the Israeli occupation plans to annex more Palestinian lands in the West Bank are a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
In a statement today, reported by the Wafa News Agency, the State Department stated that the statements of the American ambassador to the Israeli occupation entity David Friedman in which he said that Israel will not give up Hebron, just as America will not assign the Statue of Liberty a real crime and an extension of the absolute American bias to the occupation and its colonial Judaizing practices at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people. It comes within the so-called American "deal of the century".
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the UN Security Council to defend the remaining credibility of the United Nations in protecting and implementing the decisions it takes and holding Israeli officials accountable for their actions against the Palestinians.
