The dance-theatrical show, Paraverinia, directed by Norse Berro, documents the stage in which our country is experiencing as a result of the consequences of the terrorist war and the effects of the economic siege on the lives of the Syrian people, which director Berro portrays as a psychological condition called Paraverinia.

The work presented by a Syrian Dance Theater Company on the stage of the Dummar Cultural Complex, during the days of Syrian culture, depicts a group of citizens whose dreams and hopes were shattered by that war, and everything that is beautiful to them was broken through theatrical paintings that mixed theatrical performance and dance theatre.

Berro explained to Sana that the work is a new contemporary dance experience from the band’s experiences over 11 years, pointing out that paraverinia is a term in psychology that refers to a mental illness, which is imaginary psychosis, which affects a person when he is exposed to successive crises and pressures with the aim of providing an approach to the psychological effects of the war on the Syrians and their adherence to it. Hopeful despite all they have been through.

Berro indicated that the experience is a reflection of the Syrian citizen, with what he suffers in his daily living as a result of terrorism, pointing out that the goal of the work is to urge the recipient to recognize our problems and confront them in front of the mirror of our selves to reach solutions to them.
