A motorist, suspected of having shot and killed a man in Paris during a brawl on the night of Friday to Saturday, May 14, was arrested shortly after the incident, we learn from police and judicial sources.

"Following a dispute between several individuals on the public highway, a man was the victim of a gunshot
," a first police source told AFP.
The victim, in his 50s, died at the scene and the suspect, who fled by car,
"was arrested"
shortly after the incident and taken into custody, she added. .

The facts took place around 3 a.m., on Boulevard de Clichy, in the 18th arrondissement, north of the capital.
According to the first elements of the investigation, a fight opposed several people on the median when a motorist stopped his car to go to meet them, explained a second police source.
One of the participants in the brawl would have ordered him to "
clear
".
The driver then pulled out a gun and shot him in the head before getting back behind the wheel, according to the same source.
A woman arrested
The CCTV images enabled a crew from the anti-crime squad to locate the empty car of any occupant.
A device was set up near the vehicle until the suspect returned with suitcases in his hands.
At the sight of the police, the man took out his weapon again and a chase began on foot before he finally let himself be arrested without shooting.
Already known to justice, this man born in 1972 was placed in police custody.
He would also be a follower of conspiracy and anti-Semitic theses.
A woman, who introduced herself as his companion, was also arrested.
