Paris: a robbed jewelry store, the loot estimated at two million euros

A Parisian jewelry store was robbed this Friday noon. The damage is estimated at two million euros.

Only three days after the robbery of a Chaumet jewelry store, in the center of the capital, a new theft of the kind was committed in Paris.

According to our information, this Friday, around 1:30 p.m., the Dinh Van jewelry store, located 40 rue Vieille du Temple (4th arrondissement), was robbed.

The damage is estimated at two million euros, a source close to the matter told AFP.

Two men on the run

An investigation by the head of "theft with weapons and an organized gang" was opened today, tells us the Paris prosecutor's office.

Two men on the run were seen and the police have information including the report of the two robbers, broadcast on the police waves of Paris and the Paris region.

The investigations were entrusted to the BRB (brigade for the repression of banditry) of the Parisian PJ.

Investigators are on site.
