In 2017, a tigress had to be shot in the middle of the street after escaping from a circus.
PAZ, who photographed the enclosures around the tent, also criticizes the troop in question for not providing a "
suitable and stable environment
" for its pets.
The association requires that performances “
take place without animals
”.
Contacted by AFP, the City says it has "
asked for details about the living conditions
" of the marabout and points out that the bird "
makes a short appearance in the play
".
