Would anyone be so angry at France Télévisions as to aim a gun at an office?
Or is it a "joke" having fun to draw at random?
We were completely unaware of this Tuesday morning the reasons for the shooting which was the target of the building of France Télévisions.
A bullet hit the window of the office on Monday evening where a journalist from the culture department worked.
He was not injured.
An investigation of the “head of attempted voluntary homicide” was opened last night, announces to us this Tuesday morning the Paris prosecutor’s office, which specifies that “the investigations have been entrusted to the 3rd district of the judicial police”.
It is not yet 9 p.m. this Monday evening when an explosion is heard in the France Télévisions building located on the Esplanade Henri-de-France, in Paris (15th century).
It is indeed a gunshot.
An impact is noted on the glass of an office which is on the third floor and which overlooks the Seine.
The ball was not found
It is that of a journalist from the Culture department, still working on site at this late hour.
When questioned, the employee of France Télévisions would have indicated to the police that he would have heard two detonations.
No bullet was found even though the glass was indeed starred.
Still according to our information, the shot did not pierce it.
Forensic technicians went to the scene to find the clues.
Did the shooter have a particular grudge against this employee?
Asked about this, the journalist would have indicated that he was not the subject of any threat.
"It was most certainly by chance that the window of his office was hit," says a source close to the investigation.
