A crazy start to the game

Paris FC was keen to take the reins of the game from the kick-off.

Led by his top scorer Morgan Guilavogui, Thierry Laurey's men attack hard and are well helped by the Sochaux defense.

From the first minute of play, Rassoul Ndiaye deflects the ball with his hand, the referee does not hesitate and whistles a penalty that Moustapha Name has completely missed.

Despite this clumsiness, the PFC did not give up and opened the scoring in the 7th minute after a superb acceleration from Guilavogui who slipped his ball to Gory.

This last center for Mahame Siby who deceives the goalkeeper.

It could have ended there but no, two minutes later, Aaneba hit Alfarela in the box, second penalty for the PFC, it was missed again, this time by Alfarela.

An exceptional goal in stoppage time

As the match headed into extra time, Sochaux striker Maxime Do Couto decided to finish off PFC's hopes by scoring an exceptional goal in the dying moments.

Launched by Mauricio, the young striker transplanted in the axis and deceived Vincent Demarconnay with a sumptuous shot from the right.

This is the beautiful story of the evening for the one who played at Olympiak Donetsk a year ago.

“There's still a long way to go but in any case it's been a great season, both emotionally and football-wise.

We must not forget that where I come from is the war so I am very grateful, ”

says the person concerned at the end of the match.

A promising Parisian defense

With the expulsion of Moustapha Name, Thierry Laurey had to revise his plans in the second half.

Exit the big offensives, hello the counter-attacks.

The former Strasbourg coach chose to trust his young central hinge composed of Ousmane Camara (19 years old) and Samir Chergui (23 years old).

Throughout the second period, the two defenders showed unfailing resignation and courageously faced the numerous offensives of the FCSM.

It wasn't enough in the end, but this young duo has much to be proud of and could be of interest to many Ligue 1 clubs next season.

CLAW STRIKES

An organization that still leaves something to be desired

It's good to want people in your stadium, but you still have to know how to welcome them.

Five months after the fiasco of the Coupe de France match against Olympique Lyonnais, Paris FC still does not seem to have learned the lesson.

The trouble begins in the afternoon when the club announces on Twitter that it is impossible to buy its tickets online.

“The online ticket office is completely saturated!

But don't worry, the ticket office is open until tonight at Stade Charléty!

»

writes the club.

But a few minutes before kick-off many people are still massed at the entrance to the stadium and are waiting their turn to be able to buy tickets.

The minutes pass, the match begins and the public loses patience.

Some people jostle and enter the stadium without a ticket and without having been searched.

"We see that the Lyon match was useless!"

complains a spectator.

Inside the stadium the problems continue.

“A lot of people thought it was free placement but it wasn't.

I found myself next to people who did not want to give up their place, it was nonsense!”,

Explains another spectator.

Disasterclass

Catastrophic match for the African champion, who distinguished himself in the worst way.

The lion could however have become king from the second minute after the clumsy hand of Sochaux defender Rassoul Ndiaye.

But fate would have it otherwise for the one who was voted best player of the season by PFC supporters.

Name completely misses his shot, past the right of Maxence Prévot.

With this failure, the Senegalese completely leaves his match, he escapes the referee for the first time a few seconds after his penalty but Mr. Pignard will finally sanction him twice, he is expelled just before half-time after a foul on Weissbeck.

His absence benefits Sochaux who equalize a few minutes later.

A new invasion of the field at the end of the match

No, the Lyon episode was really useless.

A few minutes after the final whistle, several people cross the walls of the stands and land on the lawn.

The stewards are overwhelmed again and the club is on the verge of disaster.

It will eventually calm down but it's quite scary to see how easily the walls of Stade Charléty are penetrated.
