“We seek to enter the Syrian market with high-quality products and conclude contracts with governmental and non-governmental agencies in order to reach a partnership in various sectors,” the most prominent of what was confirmed by participants in the second Iranian products exhibition, which started yesterday evening on the fairgrounds of the exhibition city in Damascus with the participation of 164 commercial and industrial companies.

The participants also expressed their hope to increase trade exchange and implement many projects, especially those related to technical and engineering services and joint investments within the framework of investment laws that serve the two countries for the production and consumption of goods needed by their markets.

The exhibition constitutes an important opportunity to introduce the production and export capabilities of workers in the industrial and economic field for the two countries and the possibility of direct communication, as confirmed by Ali Al-Baji, director of Kayhan Foolad Al-Baji Iron Exporting Company, who expressed his admiration for the industry.

He said that this is their first participation in an economic activity in Syria, and they have the ability to provide support and assistance in this field because they had experience with the State of Iraq regarding the export of iron, which is essential in the process of construction and reconstruction.

And from the “Iran Transvo” company for the production of electrical transformers and their accessories, Mohammad Reza Akbari said: We know about our products in the exhibition, which include all dry-type electrical distribution transformers, in addition to a wide range of oil-immersed transformers, furnace transformers, insulators, valves and radiators.

Shahram Alaei, export manager at Spa Battery, referred to the strong ties that unite the two countries in all fields, expressing the desire to raise economic relations to the level of political relations between the two countries.

Fatima Ali from the Nikran Motor Pasargad Company for the manufacture of motorcycles said: We display in our booth motorcycles that run on electricity and others on gasoline, noting that their goal in participating in the exhibition is to provide assistance in the field of transportation, which suffers from difficulties in Syria, in addition to the fact that there is a demand for This type of transportation, whether in Syria or Iran.

The exhibition, which is organized by the Iranian state-owned International Exhibitions Company, in coordination with the General Organization for International Fairs and Markets in Syria, continues until the third of next December, and receives its visitors daily from 2:30 in the afternoon until 9:00 in the evening.

The exhibition includes various types of commodity products, tools and equipment in the industrial and commercial fields, as well as medical equipment, construction and building materials, architectural designs, agricultural tools, oil, gas and petrochemical equipment, in addition to food, textiles, cars and others.
