 PayPal is considering the acquisition of the social media Pinterest.

This was reported by the Bloomberg agency citing some sources, according to which the two companies are discussing a price of about 70 dollars per share, at which Pinterest would be valued at 39 billion dollars.

The rumors give wings to social media headlines, which fly 12.9% to Wall Street.

Pinterest, a photo social network launched in 2010, has 454 million active users according to Statista.

The founders are Evan Sharp, Ben Silbermann and Paul Sciarra.

In the first years of life it had a boom in users thanks also to the use by famous people like Obama.
