 From 13 to 21 August 2022, the best cars of yesterday, today and the prototypes of tomorrow, will tread the roads, golf courses, parks and even the asphalt of the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on the occasion of Monterey Car Week, the container of the most exclusive events in the world linked to the automotive world.

During the week over 25 events including red carpets, car exhibitions, competitions, auctions that will culminate with the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance at the "18 hole" of the famous green.


    On August 13 we start with the Monterey Pre-Union.

Over 300 historic racing cars will compete on the Laguna Seca circuit.


    From 15 to 17 August: Automobilia Monterey Expo at the Embassy Suites Monterey Bay-Seaside, the market where fans can buy vintage posters, books,


    August 16: Classic Motorsports Monterey Kickoff Cruise, the street party that officially opens the curtain on Monterey Car Week.

The location is the beautiful Pacific Grove with hundreds of classic and sports cars that will be parked along Lighthouse Avenue.


    On August 17th the first exclusive event: the Motorlux by Hagerty, ex McCall's Motorworks Revival.

Inside the Monterey Jet Center, it will be possible to eat appetizers and toast to champagne in a setting of worldliness with collectible cars and motorbikes as well as executive jets.

During the event, it will also be possible to preview the lots of the auction organized by Hagerty.


    On the same day, at the Pacific Grove Lighthouse, over 100 mini cars with at least 25 years of service and engines of less than 1,600cc will be exhibited.

The show in downtown Pacific Grove will be followed by a tour / parade around the city's picturesque waterfront and beaches, starting at Lover's Point and following Ocean View From 17 to 20, on the Laguna Seca circuit, the Rolex Monterey will also kick off Motorsport Reunion.

A celebration of motorsport with hundreds of historic racing and sports cars ready to compete in the world's premier motoring event.


    Also on the 17th, at Casa Palmero in Pebble Beach, the arrival of the cars that took part in the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic is expected.

A tour of about 1,500 miles which started from the Pacific Northwest coast and which will see many of the cars that will compete for the "Best in Show" award at the Concorso di Eleganza on the last day.


    Hagerty's auction is scheduled for August 18th at the Monterey Jet Center with around 80 vehicles.

At Pacific Grove Golf Links, it will be the turn of the Autobahn Legends, the gathering dedicated to German cars: BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi.

Over 400 cars including rare and historically significant models.


    During the same day, from 7 to 12, over 150 of the cars that will participate in the Concorso di Eleganza, will parade through the streets of the peninsula.

The tour includes steps on the legendary 17-Mile Drive and Highway One to Big Sur and back.

Three auctions are scheduled from 18 to 20 August: Mecum, at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course;

Russo and Steele Collector, at Downtown Monterey Waterfront in Fisherman's Wharf and Rm Sotheby's Monterey at the Conference center.

Friday 19th, The Quail at Motorsports Gathering, at Quail Lodge Golf Club. Definitely the most exclusive event of the week.

Tickets for this event are awarded with a lottery and the payment of an entrance ticket over 500 dollars.

Guests of The Quail will be able to admire the most prestigious cars from the most exclusive collections while enjoying the dishes of starred chefs.

The most important and famous manufacturers in the world unveil here their prototypes and the models on which they will focus the following year.

The winner of the "Best of the Best Award" will be chosen from among the cars on display.

A few meters away from the event, other collectors will try to take home one of the cars on auction at Bonhams.

Made in collaboration with The Quail, it features, among others, a 1938 Bugatti Atalante Type 57C with a millionaire price.

    At sunset, at the Laguna Seca paddock, an exhibition of 50 vehicles including racing cars, supercars and other icons that represent the definitive essence of the RADwood era (1980-1999).


    On August 19th and 20th the Gooding & Company auctions will take place at Pebble Beach Resorts.

Gooding & Company, the official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, will host collectors, buyers and sellers of some of the world's most important cars in the prestigious venue of the 71st Pebble Beach Competition.

Le Pebble Beach Auctions is the only auction inside the gates of the famous 17-Mile Drive and offers enthusiasts the opportunity not only to see, but also to purchase cars of impeccable quality, design and provenance.


    August 20: The Concours d'Lemon, at Seaside City Hall 440 Harcourt Ave Seaside.

A goliardic race that sees many vehicles of dubious taste on display.

The judges will assess bad design, bad taste and dispense advice on why the car in question should not be purchased.

Rusty, ugly cars and the worst of the automotive landscape of yesterday and today will be on display.


    At the same times, Concorso Italiano will be held on the Black Horse golf course, the largest tribute in the world to Italian cars.

An event with red carpet, debates, and presentations.


    Every year, Italian personalities from the automotive world are invited.

About 900 cars registered.

On August 21, the grand finale.

with the Pebble Beach Concours de Elegance which will be broadcast in

live streaming

  from 10pm Italian time, thanks to the partnership with WeatherTech, Hagerty and Torque Media.

The broadcast will give all fans the opportunity to enjoy the great show: from the Dawn Patrol morning ritual to the confetti celebrating the winner.

Interviews and insights will also be held during the live broadcast.

We can't wait to share the show on the green of Pebble Beach with the millions of fans. "The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance took place, as a side event, during the Pebble Beach Road Races in 1950. In the first edition, 30 cars were exhibited on November 5. The two events continued to take place simultaneously until 1956, when the death of the driver Ernie McAfe decreed the end of the races on the narrow tree-lined avenues of Del Monte Forrest.

70 years later, the Concours d'Elegance is the final event of the great Monterey Car Week container, a week of events, auctions, races, rallies and presentations.

Judges take authenticity, history and style into consideration when casting their votes.

The classes are divided by type of vehicle, brand, coachbuilder, country of origin or period of production.

The first, second and third of each category are awarded.

The most representative car of the Competition wins the "Best of Show".

15 thousand spectators who every year attend the event from the prestigious green.
