The Peißenberg “Miners” have once again become active in matters of “transfers”.
The Bayern league team has secured the services of a Czech striker who has already caused a sensation in the Ober and Bayern leagues.
Peißenberg - In terms of “new signings”, the “Miners” of TSV Peißenberg had recently held back - at least when it came to external communication.
Now the Bayern league team is reporting access again - and they are filling a contingent position.
Tomas Rousek will play for the "Miners" in the future. The 27-year-old has mostly been part of the squad of league rivals EHC Waldkraiburg in recent seasons (with interludes at Kitzbühel EC and TEV Miesbach). The Czech has played a total of 67 games for the “Lions” since 2018. He collected 102 scorer points (57 goals / 45 assists) in the Ober- and Bayernliga.
Rousek learned to play ice hockey at HC Ceske Budejovice. In Budweis he also made his debut in the Czech extra league. The 1.78 meter center can also look back on several appearances in the youth national teams of his home country. Rousek's first stop in Germany was the Höchstadter EC in the 2016/17 season. In 45 league games for Middle Franconia, he got 45 points scorer. The Czech will wear jersey number 37 for the "Miners". According to a message from the Peißenberger, Rousek will in future "also be involved in the training units of our junior teams during the week". He is looking forward to the upcoming season with the Peißenberg team, he said in a video message from Budweis published on the “Miners” website. And he already knows about the mining tradition of the market town.In proper style, he said goodbye with "Glück auf".
