In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a 79-year-old pensioner has been killed. Her husband had found the woman in the family house with severe head injuries, shortly afterwards she died.
The prosecution is based on a homicidal offense, as a spokesman for the Rostock Prosecution announced. The police meanwhile arrested a 43-year-old man.
Let into the house?
The man is suspected of having so badly injured the woman in her home on Thursday night "with blunt force" that she died shortly thereafter, said the prosecutor's spokesman.
The husband had found the victim with a severe bleeding head injury and alerted the ambulance and police. According to the investigators knew the deaf and dumb suspected culprit the woman.
Whether the victim left the prisoner in her house or whether he should even have penetrated into the building is unclear. The prosecutor announced that he would apply for an arrest warrant against the suspect.
