The People’s Assembly affirmed that the memory of Maysaloun passes, and Syria is more determined to achieve victories and prove that its people are neither faint nor weak, no matter how severe the tribulations and calamities may be, through confronting and steadfastness in the face of the forces of evil, aggression, and the new, old, and returning obscurantist, obscurantist terrorism with different clothing and renewed forms.

The Council affirmed that the proud Syrian people and the brave men of the armed forces were inspired by the values, lessons, and meanings of the epic of Maysaloun, and from it they drew strength, patience and determination, and established through it a new stage in our modern and contemporary history, entitled adherence to national rights and constants, and sacrifice every precious thing in order to preserve every atom of the soil of our beloved country through Confronting the fiercest war known to mankind, and steadfastness in the face of the forces of evil, aggression, and the new, old and new takfiri obscurantism, in a different dress and renewed forms.

The Council indicated that Syria was able to achieve great victories that stunned the whole world and proved that we are a people that does not become weak or weak no matter how severe the trials and calamities are, and that we are on the path to achieving complete and final victory thanks to the cohesion of our great people and our heroic army and our absolute belief in the wisdom, foresight and courage of our redeemed leader, President Bashar al-Assad.
