Arrival of the quinté
: 9-7-4-3-10
Contested on very soft ground, the quinté du jour brought together sixteen competitors, aged 5 to 8, on the 2,400-meter course at the Chantilly racecourse (Oise).
Remaining on a convincing fourth place last month in Saint-Cloud,
Cressida
(n ° 9) confirmed her good form by showing herself the strongest to finish.
She produced excellent acceleration in the middle of the track and then sustained her effort, keeping the best until the end.
Associated with Grégory Benoist,
Cressida
thus won her second quinté and ahead of her training companion,
Investor
(n ° 7), favorite of the event.
The 6-year-old gelding once again responded as he returned to the grass.
His performance is all the more deserving because he had to wait.
Once shifted, he put in a very good boost to grab second place.
Stéphane Wattel therefore had the keys to this big handicap by signing the winning pair.

Third arrival
Breath of Fire
(# 4) causes a surprise.
He redeems himself fully after four poor performances and proves that he will have to be reckoned with again in this style of tournament.
Gourel
(n ° 4) behaves remarkably by taking fourth place.
Fifth,
Magnentius
(n ° 10) came as if to win but found the time long.
It will be better over 2,000 meters.
