Pokémon Legends: Arceus is coming soon.
How many Pokémon will players encounter in it?
Pokémon games have been around since the '90s.
At that time, the number of different types of pocket monsters was still quite clear.
In the red, blue and yellow edition there were a total of 151. The franchise has now produced around 900 different Pokémon.
How many of these are in the new Pokémon Legends: Arceus* for Nintendo Switch?

"Pokémon Legends: Arceus": Exact number of Pokémon still unknown
At this point, it's not certain how many Pokémon will be roaming the game world in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Nintendo has not yet expressed a specific number.
At least some sites, including Nintendo Wire, have an initial assessment.
Based on the trailer and some leaks,
a total of 182 different Pokémon have been confirmed so far
.
These include Pokémon from newer and older editions - including Pikachu or Snorlax.
It is possible that not all pocket monsters will be available when the game is released and will only be integrated afterwards via various
downloadable content
.
But the developers have not yet revealed anything about DLCs that may be released.

"Pokémon Legends: Arceus" does a lot of new things
Fans are very excited about the innovations that "Arceus" will offer.
For the first time,
wild Pokémon will be able to attack players directly
without engaging them in battle first.
In addition, it is the first game in the "Pokémon" main series that has received an age rating
of twelve years
- probably because it is a bit more challenging in terms of gameplay.
However, the graphics were criticized, from which players hoped for a little more – but that is due to the hardware performance of the Nintendo Switch, which of course cannot keep up with the new Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
